Development of a cooperative game prototype in Unreal Engine 5 for the Level Up 2024 Game Jam. The project involved creating a cooperative gameplay system for three characters, each with unique abilities (warrior, mage, archer). Combat mechanics, dungeon exploration, and basic puzzle solving were implemented. To achieve a seamless gameplay experience, a character navigation system (AI) and a collision detection system were utilized. The game features a basic save system and a functional main menu.
This 3D platformer prototype, entirely developed in Unreal Engine 5, was created as a showcase for my portfolio. Players must combine precision and timing to jump across moving platforms, collect coins, and outsmart patrolling enemies with pursuit behavior. The game also integrates physics-based platform mechanics and a custom particle system that enhances the visuals with effects like dust clouds and explosions. While still a small-scale project, it demonstrates my focus on core gameplay systems, technical implementation, and visual polish within Unreal Engine.
A Secret Sleeping in the Deep Sea is a 2D arcade-style game developed entirely in Unity, where players control a pufferfish navigating through a vibrant underwater world. The goal is to collect as many pearls as possible while avoiding dangerous sharks that threaten your journey.
Within the 42 curriculum, the cub3D project was developed as a tribute to the groundbreaking Wolfenstein 3D. The main goal was to understand the mechanisms behind 3D rendering engines using C and miniLibX. Through the implementation of a ray-casting algorithm, a 3D maze was created. This project not only reinforced programming skills but also allowed for the application of mathematical concepts like trigonometry and geometry in a practical setting.
The beginning of a journey in game development. At 16, I used RPG Maker XP to develop my first ambitious game, inspired by the Final Fantasy series. This project was fundamental to learning the basics of game development and ignited my passion for creating virtual worlds.
